I AM MARCELLO BRANCO
Freelance Ilustrator. Author, comic book artist, writer, educommunicator, animation filmmaker and New Age apprentice. I was reborn in 1973 and soon began to understand the "movement". In 1999, I founded F7® Studio - based in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil. I got a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, with a Master’s degree in Technology, Education and Communication, both from the Federal University of Uberlândia/MG. I was a co-editor of the fanzine a "Rabo de Galo” (1999-2000) and the electronic magazine ''Rossanova" (1999-2001). I have been working in corporate comics projects, such as: The Art of Growing (2022), Alexa’s Institute Team (2019-2022), Cerrado’s Folks” (2018), Park Brigade (2022), among other comics. I am the author of the children's fiction book "Abemigas and the Power of Mind" (2018) and of the award-winning 2D animation "The Wedding of the Spix's Macaw", performed in partnership with the late writer and professor Angelo Machado. From 2002 to 2018, I created and was the facilitator of the F7 Workshops of cartoons and comics, for children and young people, generating an audiovisual collection recognized in hundreds of film festivals and exhibitions, in Brazil and abroad, being awarded with the 2009 Effective Social Technology Prize by the Banco do Brasil Foundation. I also created and directed the "Animare Programa" (2012-2018), presented by Professor HQ and Ônus, the animadroid, directly from the Gaya Space Station. The Animare Program originated thirty 10-minute episodes. In 2021, I published the graphic novel "Beyond the Tomb" (17 x 26 cm, 80 pages), using funding resources from the Aldir Blanc Tax Incentive Law. I attended the CCXP Worlds, in the 4th Casa Comics Fair, in Belo Horizonte/MG and launched the t-shirt store Vista F7, with exclusive prints developed upon the concept of "pop culture in new Age".
